You start a conversation.
When you both like each other, it’s a soft match, and either of you can start a conversation with a Ticket. A soft match lasts 21 days. A conversation that uses a Ticket makes it a hard match, which doesn’t expire.
Then it goes one of two ways.

A week goes by.
If they don’t reply in 7 days, the Ticket comes back to you, automatically. If they reply, you have until the later of 7 days after you started and 48 hours after their reply to reply back.
Used only when you both reply.
No reply: your Ticket came back, ready to use again, and either of you can start over with a Ticket. They replied and you replied back: the Ticket is used, it’s a hard match, and you keep talking without another Ticket.

Is it free?
Creating an account is free. Tickets are the only thing we sell, in bundles through Apple’s in-app purchase. There are no subscriptions, and you’re never charged again automatically.
How do Tickets work?
You need a Ticket to start a conversation, and it’s used only if they reply and you reply back before the deadline (the later of 7 days after you start and 48 hours after their reply); otherwise it comes back to you automatically.

No. Tickets you buy don’t expire. They can’t be transferred and have no cash value.

Yes. You can cancel any Ticket purchase within 3 business days for a full refund.
