Cancel a purchase

Curtains is operated by Billion Flower Moon Studios LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

You can cancel any Ticket purchase within 3 business days and get all your money back. You can also cancel our Terms themselves. This page explains how. The full rules are in our Terms, Section 6.

Who can cancel, and until when#

Every member, in every state, can cancel.

• Any Ticket purchase: until midnight at the end of the third business day after the day you made it. Sundays and holidays don't count as business days ("holidays" means US federal holidays and the public holidays of the state where you live). For example, if you buy Tickets on a Friday and none of the next few days is a holiday, you can cancel until midnight at the end of Tuesday (Saturday and Monday count; Sunday doesn't).
• Illinois members have a little longer: until midnight at the end of the third business day after the first business day after the purchase.
• Arizona, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Wisconsin members also have longer: Saturdays don't count as business days for you either, and your time runs from the later of the purchase and the day you receive your receipt with your copy of our Terms. Both arrive in the app the moment you buy, so normally that's the same day. Each purchase also has a 12-month term, and when a term ends, you can ask us to refund its unused Tickets instead (Terms, Section 7.8).
• Our Terms: you can cancel the Terms themselves within the same time limits, counted from the day you accept them (in Arizona, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Wisconsin, from the later of that day and the day you receive your copy). We then close your account. Accepting the Terms costs nothing, but any Ticket purchase you've made since is still within its own time limit. So cancelling the Terms cancels those purchases too, and we refund them in full.

The date of a purchase is the date Apple records it. The dates that count come from our records, and we'll show them to you on request. If the law where you live gives you more time to cancel, or more rights when you do, you get them.

How to cancel#

By email: write to cancel@curtainsdating.com. Any wording that shows you want to cancel works. If you have it, include the purchase date or the Apple order ID (it's on Apple's receipt for the purchase). That helps us find the purchase quickly, but it isn't required. If it isn't clear which purchase you mean, we'll ask, and your message still counts as on time.

By mail: mail or deliver a notice to Billion Flower Moon Studios LLC, 2106 House Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA.

Any other way: any other message that shows you want to cancel also works, for example an email to support@curtainsdating.com.

You don't need a special form or special words. You can use New York's Notice of Cancellation form at the end of this page if you like, or, if you live in Connecticut or Rhode Island, your state's form, which follows it. An email counts from when you send it. A mailed notice counts from the day you post it, properly addressed and with postage paid. You can still cancel by email after deleting your account, as long as you're within the time limit.

What happens next#

1. We confirm your cancellation and ask you to request the refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple took the payment, so a refund from Apple is usually quickest. If you've let us answer Apple's questions about your purchases (Terms, Section 5.6), we tell Apple we support the refund. We also ask how you'd like to receive a payment from us, in case it's needed.
2. If Apple hasn't refunded you by the 8th day after we received your notice, we pay you the full amount ourselves by the 10th day.
3. Either way, you get all your money back within 10 days after we receive your notice. There's never a cancellation fee. Meeting that deadline is our job, not Apple's and not yours.
4. The purchase's unused Tickets come out of your balance, starting with Tickets that aren't on hold. If that isn't enough, Tickets on hold come out too, most recent first, and those conversations close.

The refund is in full even if you've used some of the purchase's Tickets. Conversations where a Ticket was used stay open, and we don't take used Tickets back or charge you for them. If Apple refunds you after we've paid you, you agree to pay us back the duplicate amount.

Good to know#

• You cancel a whole purchase, not single Tickets from it.
• A change of mind within the time limit is refunded in full, without argument, every time.
• Cancelling is a cooling-off right, not a way to use Tickets for free. If an account keeps buying Tickets, using them and cancelling, we still refund every cancellation made in time, but we may pause new Ticket purchases on that account.
• After the time limit, you can't cancel a purchase, but our other refunds still apply (Terms, Sections 2.3, 4.15 and 7).

The cancellation statements in our Terms#

California and New York law require these two statements, and our Terms open with them. They apply to the Terms and, separately, to every Ticket purchase. Members in Arizona, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Wisconsin also have their state's notices in Terms, Section 7.8.

You, the buyer, may cancel this agreement, without any penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the original contract seller's third business day following the date of this contract, excluding Sundays and holidays. To cancel this agreement, mail or deliver a signed and dated notice, or send a telegram which states that you, the buyer, are canceling this agreement, or words of similar effect. This notice shall be sent to: Billion Flower Moon Studios LLC, 2106 House Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA. You can also cancel by email: write to cancel@curtainsdating.com. Any email that says you want to cancel is enough.

YOU, THE BUYER, MAY CANCEL THIS CONTRACT WITHOUT ANY CANCELLATION FEE WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF THIS CONTRACT. SEE THE ATTACHED NOTICE OF CANCELLATION FORM FOR AN EXPLANATION OF THIS RIGHT.

Notice of Cancellation#

New York law requires this form. Any member may use it, but you don't have to: any message that shows you want to cancel works. To use it, fill in the dates, sign it, and send it to us by mail or email. Keep a copy for yourself. The form uses New York's wording, which allows ten business days for the refund. We refund within 10 days after we receive your notice.

Connecticut Notice of Cancellation#

Connecticut law requires this form for members who live in Connecticut. You don't have to use it: any message that shows you want to cancel works, including email, and we refund within 10 days. A completed copy, with the date filled in, comes with your receipt.

Rhode Island Notice of Cancellation#

Rhode Island law requires this form for members who live in Rhode Island. You don't have to use it: any message that shows you want to cancel works, including email, and we refund within 10 days. A completed copy, with the date filled in, comes with your receipt.
